Getting a good night's sleep is important, so all the beds have a good firm mattress and an Egyptian cotton sheet. The duvets and pillows are down and feather; although I also have wool duvets and best quality synthetic duvets if you prefer. There are hot drink making facilities in each room and you can take a jug of fresh milk to bed with you (if you're lonely). For that extra touch, there are lovely dressing gowns and toiletries from the Bath House; a wonderful business based in Sedbergh, manufacturing high quality toiletries. There are no televisions in the bedrooms as I think that its rather nice to be able to hear the quiet, with the extras of bird song and bleating sheep. You're welcome to use the sitting room and watch the television there. We have 3 rooms to chose from:

The en-suite or private external bathrooms have bathrobes and local Bath House toiletries. Upon arrival, homemade cakes are available. For breakfast, Summerhill serves homemade granola and bread, with locally produced bacon and sausages. Vegetarian options are also available (Steve is vegetarian).
